Adulterers and Fornicators God Will Judge Pt.1

ADULTERERS AND FORNICATORS GOD WILL JUDGE

Fornication and Adultery

  • Many that are coming in and acknowledging that they are Israel are still in the midst of fornication and adultery

  • Isaiah 60:2 [For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.]

  • When we look at what is happening in the world, sin is rampant among the children of Israel, even above the other nations. In the media and even on the street, adultery and fornication is widespread among our people.

  • 1 John 2:15-16

  • 15 [Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.]

  • 16 [For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.]

  • Lust of the flesh is speaking so sin, specifically sexual sin in this context. Adultery and fornication begins with seeing it with your eyes and then coveting after those things that are not ours.

  • Exodus 20:17 [Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.]

  • Adultery begins with coveting the things that are your neighbors and then lusting after those things such as another’s wife or husband.

  • Sirach 9:8,5

  • [Turne away thine eye from a beautifull woman, and looke not vpon anothers beautie: for many haue beene deceiued by the beautie of a woman, for heerewith loue is kindled as a fire.]

  • These are ways to control our lust and covetousness. The first thing to do is to when we happen to see another woman (or man in the case of women), is to just turn away and do not stare. We must train ourselves to do these things by seeing this action as being evil.

  • Many great men have fallen because of the beauty of a woman such as David, Solomon and Samson.

  • [Gaze not on a maide, that thou fall not by those things, that are pretious in her.]

  • To gaze on a woman is to stare at her intently. When men stare at a woman, they are only a few specific body parts that they look at (breast, backside, and private parts) which are the things that are precious to her. The body parts will hypnotize you. Even the carnal part of our mind may still like those things, we must train ourselves to hate it.

  • God made the woman, so He knows how we can be trapped so we must follow the instructions of how to move. Ultimately it is up to us if we are going to apply this to our life, but instructions have been given. Both men and women must learn to control themselves.

  • Fornication is one sin that may prevent many of Israel from gaining the kingdom. Instead of praying and fasting for a spouse, we take it into our own hands and end up going against the Lord. Being the image of God, we must discipline ourselves, animals give into their instincts, and we should not be as they are.

  • Job 31:1-6,9-10

  • [I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?]

  • Job was not looking and lusting after other women because he made the agreement with his eyes to not do it.

  • [For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?]

  • [Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?]

  • If you are willing stay in the midst of sin, there is a punishment for you.

  • [Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?]

  • [If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;]

  • [Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.]

  • [If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour’s door;]

  • There are times when can be deceived by a woman and her body. Women can lust just as men can, but they are able to hide it well.

  • To wait at your neighbor’s door is to commit adultery.

  • 10 [Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.]

  • Job was a man of integrity and learned to control his eyes. As Noah and Job hated the wicked world they were in, we must train our mind to be the same. In the world, we were brought up to see two women together as attractive, but now after learning this truth, we must regard it as evil and hate it.

  • Sirach 9:8-9

  • [Turne away thine eye from a beautifull woman, and looke not vpon anothers beautie: for many haue beene deceiued by the beautie of a woman, for heerewith loue is kindled as a fire.]

  • We fight lusts by just looking away, or keeping scrolling past it when dealing on your phone.

  • We must not allow it to get to the point of having any sexual attraction to another woman that is not your wife.

  • [Sit not at all with another mans wife, nor sit downe with her in thine armes, and spend not thy money with her at the wine, least thine heart incline vnto her, and so thorough thy desire thou fall into destruction.]

  • We are not to sit down with another man’s wife at all, even if it is just to talk. If a married woman seeks council, they have to bring their husband.

  • We must use discretion when it comes to having physical contact with a married woman so that it does not go beyond what is acceptable between a brother and sister.

  • We are also instructed to not go out for drinks with a married woman by herself without her husband. This is deceptive because the too already want to be together but want to be able to blame it on something to be innocent in their mind.

  • If you allow provisions for the flesh, you will begin to have sexual thoughts about another man’s wife. Most of the people that commit adultery end up going back into the world.

  • A woman with many male friends more than likely has a whore spirit on them. Usually the opportunity has not presented itself for them to have any sexual interaction between each other.

  • Because of our desires and lusts, we will be judged by the Lord which could ultimately lead to death.

  • The key to our mind is our eyes, which is the reason we must train ourselves to look away when faced with temptation.

  • Mark 7:21-23

  • 21 [For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,]

  • The heart is the mind.

  • 22 [Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:]

  • 23 [All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.]

  • All of these sins come from our mind and defile us. Adultery starts with our hearts.

  • Matthew 5:27-28

  • 27 [Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:]

  • It is found written in the law that we are not to commit adultery.

  • Exodus 20:14 [Thou shalt not commit adultery.]

  • 28 [But I say unto youThat whosoevelooketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.]

  • Christ explained that before a person physically commits adultery, they have already committed the sin in their mind beforehand. If you look at a woman and lust after her, you are more likely to commit the act if the opportunity presents itself. There is no such thing as an accident when it comes to committing adultery and fornication.

  • If you do not confess you sin and act ignorant, it just means you have not learned and are more likely to commit the act again. We must take accountability for our actions.

  • For some sins, you can ask for forgiveness, but the Lord can take His spirit away from you and find yourself back in the world. Man’s judgment is not the Lord’s. The Lord has His own way to judge you for your sins.

  • Those that continue to fornicate cannot be around the congregation, even if forgiven.

  • 29 [And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.]

  • You right eye is a metaphor for whatever sin you are dealing with. You cut out your eye by looking away.

  • If you will not discipline yourself and keep entertaining the sin, you are leading yourself to destruction.

  • 1 Corinthians 12:14-16

  • 14 [For the body is not one member, but many.]

  • 15 [If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?]

  • 16 [And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?]

  • The members are the body parts.

  • Colossians 3:5 [Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:]

  • To mortify is to deaden. This is going to deaden your sins. Whatever demon you are dealing with, the Lord is telling you to kill it.

  • Inordinate affection includes the sins that are found in Leviticus 18 such as sexual desire between family members or even animals.

  • Matthew 5:28-29

  • 28 [But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.]

  • 29 [And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.]

  • The right eye in this situation is a metaphor for fornication. Even though we are not perfect now, we must still strive for perfection and walk as Christ.

  • 2 Peter 2:14

  • 14 [Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:]

  • Some of us just cannot stop sinning. If the sin continues in the congregation and nothing is done, it will spread to the other members.

  • A person who is always looking at another’s spouse has eyes full of adultery. They do not really believe and is only in the congregation to cause chaos and confusion.

  • Those that are new or older members that still have one foot in the world are considered unstable and are more likely to be defiled by sinful members. We must let no one take our crown. It is the Lord that called us into this walk and it is our job to make our calling and election sure.

  • 2 Peter 1:10 [Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:]

  • Men can fall because they are susceptible to sin, so we must make sure our foundation is Christ.

  • Jeremiah 17:5 [Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.]

  • Unstable souls can be confused by different doctrines, even those doctrines that have been proven false with the scriptures.

  • Some people are just cursed and are a detriment to the body.

  • James 1:13-15

  • 13 [Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:]

  • We cannot say that it is God that tempts us and blame Him when we fall because of temptation.

  • 14 [But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.]

  • Our own lusts that is within us are what cause us to be tempted.

  • 15 [Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.]

  • Our lust is created in our mind and the sin begins and gets stronger when we continue feed it until the point we commit the act. It is the act that will lead to judgment which is ultimately death if we do not leave off of the sin.

  • Under the law of Moses, fornicators and adulterers were put to death without any mercy.

  • Everything that we are dealing with, there is another brother or sister that has dealt with or is currently dealing with the same thing. When we are in a dead state, without God’s laws, we are controlled by Satan and lose our ability to tell right from wrong. Instead of cutting sinful thoughts off, in a dead state we would entertain those thoughts.

  • 1 Corinthians 10:13 [There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.]

  • Sirach 21:2 [Flee from sinne as from the face of a Serpent: for if thou commest too neere it, it will bite thee: the teeth thereof, are as the teeth of a lyon, slaying the soules of men.]

  • A snack can affect you with their venom and kill you slowly. Sin has the same attribute where because it may seem small at first, overtime it will lead to death.

  • It is a red flag when the opposite sex begins to talk to you negatively about their marriage and/or spouse. You should not entertain a conversation like this.

  • Many instances of fornication happens on the job between co-workers.

  • If you play with the sin, you will become enticed and when the opportunity presents itself, you are more likely to commit the act.

  • Women are more subtle, especially when it comes to social media. Instead of blocking men that are sending them direct messages, they will entertain the communication behind their husbands back.

  • When you look at a man or woman with lust, especially when just coming from the ways of the world, you tend to have worldly expectations which may not be obtainable. This will leave the brother or sister unsatisfied and lacking real love.

  • 1 Peters 5:8 [Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:]

  • Satan’s job is to destroy us by any means and through anyone that he deems necessary.

  • Proverbs 6:26 [For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.]

  • The precious life is those that have repented with the faith of Christ.

  • The job of those that tempt you is just to take you out of your walk.

  • Proverbs 6:5 [Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.]

  • It is up to us to resist the traps that is set up by satan.

  • If you are burning, you must first ask the Lord and do not take it upon yourself. Many have issues that they need to deal with and marriage may not be the best thing for them at that time. You must also not ask for a wife just because of lust.

  • James 4:3 [Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.]

  • Proverbs 6:26-35

  • 26 [For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.]

  • 27 [Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?]

  • Playing with fire is the same as entertaining your lusts.

  • 28 [Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?]

  • 29 [So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.]

  • If you touch your neighbor’s wife, you will be judged. It does not matter if she wanted it.

  • 30 [Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;]

  • 31 [But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.]

  • When you are committing adultery with a woman, it is as if you are stealing another man’s possession. Material things such as food or valuables can be restored, but there is nothing to be restored after a woman is defiled from adultery.

  • 32 [But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.]

  • It is not common for those who commit adultery to find their way back into this walk.

  • Not just committing adultery, but also by sleeping around with harlots and prostitutes will lead to the destruction of your soul.

  • 33 [A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.]

  • 34 [For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.]

  • 35 [He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.]

  • If you steal a man’s gold, you can restore it to him after. If you steal a man’s wife, he more than likely will try and take your life.
